The first article on this blog should be dedicated…to reason of this blog – to my professional and life selfdiscivery. Why both this things? ‘Cause I believe they tied closely. One isn’t possible without other.
I am very communicative person. And there are several FAQ. :)
1. You are so pretty girl. Why are you so interested in work and career?
Hm…What’s a problem? I’m not only pretty, I’m clever too.
2. Why IT? It’s not feminine…
‘Cause when I enter to university IT was only one direction without chemistry (I’m not joking!)
3. You have diploma of physics theme? How?
Prof. of math and physics Grankin V.P.is my my favorite teacher and first who interested me in physics.
4. I changed several jobs (third job and 3 years of working). All of them in different spheres of IT? So. What direction I’m interested?
All. All progressive and innovative. I always choose perspective, interesting job. Jobs that are perspective in professional growth and salary.
At the beginning I had the choice - science or business. I chose business, ‘cause I tried and understand - science isn’t for me. Yes, it’s interesting but….
I begun in SAP implementation department. It was cool.
But I received more interesting offer. Why interesting? Because of new horizons to discover. I were BA in Development company.
Than I became SAPper again. But in other system – not ERP, but BW. Another change of direction? Someones ask me ‘why did you left development? ‘
I always answer ‘It was not mine’…But than I thought and realize – NO! It is ordinary ‘rotation’. You know some professionals do the same – some doctors for example. They work one year as surgion, next year – as obstetrician. So, they keep both skills and can help better to their patients So and I (knowing SAP ERP CO, FI, HR etc) can working with SAP BW (without knowledge first second has no sense). I can work Project architect -‘cause I can coordinate implementation with my xp in different modules and my BA xp (coordination of programming process). Knowing implementation process and business (different industries – banking and metallurgy) I can be IT director…It’s long list.
On my hand – I don’t wont to be tied with one system or with only one kind of job. And I really amazing when some managers (!) tell me that real specialist should be narrow. I think this kind of managers (interesting is – they have very wide circle of interests!) and specialist like close-eyed horse. From other hand – «каждому свое»…
So. I have no limits in interests. Only two criteria – interesting and perspective. And I’m not afraid to do something new (for me or for company).
5. What is job of my dreame?
See upper text :) Development and moving is a life. When I stop – I die. As professional and soul alive first. Than – naturally with boredom.
6. What about family?
What about family? Does anybody think that career and family – incompatible?
